This product is made from 100% Dutch Merino wool. The fiber of the wool from merino sheep is much thinner and therefore softer than the wool from traditional Dutch sheep. Wool adapts to its environment. Wool fibers are very elastic and have moisture-regulating properties. Wool cools in summer and warms in winter, is highly resistant to bacteria, is fire-resistant and biodegradable. Wool has a self-cleaning ability and thus hardly needs washing. Airing is often more than enough. Thus, this blanket lasts a very long time. The wool is undyed and has the color of the natural fiber.
